I’ve been cleaning out our garage, or “car hole” for the non-frenchmen. We are moving and it is full of shit. Mouse shit. Lots of cardboard and blah, blah, blah. My wife and I are pack-fucking-rats, Jesus H. Fuck! Man it is really something to behold, I burned a mess of old bank statements circa 1994. Why keep that shit?
Got the new Wired yesterday, big article on Cameron’s flick Avatar and the realtime previs they used making the film. Pretty cool shit. Too bad the plot looks a bit threadbare. Rule number 19,999, never use “we’re not in Kansas anymore” or any permutation, in anything, ever. Fuck. In a mild twist of irony I’m watching Aliens on AMC, which has arguably the best whining dialog ever. Why don’t you put her in charge?!
I love Ridley Scott and I love his seminal film, Legend. Even Tom Cruise can’t fuck that movie up. Just thought I’d mention that.

Pandorum. Loved it, really good SF, it’s been awhile.
Moon. Another really good SF flick, we’re on a roll.
Ink. Really good story, James Cameron should have watched this. ;P
